Lately, things have been kinda weird around here. My personal pet peeves: 1) Noobs... well they'll be noobs. I don't mind answering questions, but FAQs and search should be used. God knows I did the above when I was a noob before I posted anything. 2) People who ask how a certain item looks on their car and such and then when they get blasted or flamed, they get all defensive and then throw a tantrum. Look, if you want an opinion from us, you will get some positive and some negative. That's life. If you can't handle the truth or other people's opinion, don't post and leave yourself open. God knows that people have told me that they don't like my car and a minority have called it rice. But that's it, it's an opinion. Do what you like with your car because it is YOUR car and you are the one to live with it according to your tastes. 3) There has been a spate of past scammers who have posted in classifieds and have returned in some way, shape, or form. I will not mention any names, but I just have to say buyer beware. The noob icon is a great tool for those who don't bother checking profiles. If someone just joined today and is selling something that seems too good to be true, then it probably is. If there was some way we could off these people, then we would... but if we could do that in life in general, the world would be a better, albeit boring place. 4) Short tempers. LOL. I know that I can have one from time to time, but sometimes, we should cut the Noobs some slack. Some of them have very legitimate questions, but some of us just string them up like a pinata and take swings at them. It's tough, but I like to be able to offer any and all advice and information that I may have about our Zs, this forum, and life (if you really want to get that from me). For all of our new members, I hope that you especially read this part of my post and know that most of us would love to offer any kind of helping hand. The admins are great as well as the moderators. Damon and the gang started something great when they put this site together. I have learned so much from here and I have met so many nice people. I am not perfect... and I am guilty of being a jerk sometimes (I know I left myself open for that one) but all in all, this is a great place to hang out. I hope I haven't sounded like someone's Dad or something. You can tell I was bored. TT.net rocks and if I should be banned for this post then so be it... ;-P This post will probably be nuked or something. But that's my soliloquy for the day. What are some of your pet peeves?
